The need of the hour is to crack the whip like never before
on all such forces that tend to add fuel to the fire and divide the nation
along ethnic and criminal lines.
Even a minor crime ought to be reported and the perpetrator
of such crime be convicted. Such creature should be strip off their right to
vote and not allowed to enjoy the benefits of ration card, Aadhar card, driving
license et cetera in the first place as the primary punishment.
Those accused of involvement in heinous crimes like terrorist
activities, murder, brutal rape and other ‘rarest of the rare’ crimes must be
sent to the gallows. They should be denied the right to prolong their case at
the various tiers of the judiciary. All such offences must be made non-bail
able.
All those hatemongers who attempt to set up ethnic or
cultural barriers through their derogatory and inciting speeches must be
convicted and awarded stringent punishment. They should be ostracized.
The definition of the ‘rarest of rare’ crimes that award
capital punishment should be widened to include other brutal crimes within its
ambit.
It is high time the Police Department be revamped. The
security personnel must be armed with the latest technology weapons and
surveillance cum tracking software. Those who refuse to register a complaint or
harass the complainant must be severely punished.
Parents must inculcate moral values and respect for the
opposite sex among their children right from a young age. They ought to be
denied access to illicit liquor, drugs, distorted literature and other filthy
content. They must be sensitised to the cause of the others.
Social media should be prevented from becoming a vehicle for
the perpetrators of violence and hatred in the society.
No individual is a born criminal. If all the sins and the
despicable notions are stemmed right at the grass root level, our nation will
soon be rid of all the crimes.
Let us pledge to make our nation crime free and ignite flame
of love and compassion in the heart of every Indian. Let us make an effort to
take our nation to new heights.
