Ironically, a nation that profoundly worships
goddesses,
Fails to protect the life of innocent female foetuses;
Who are hailed as a curse or a burden by the insane,
And are butchered, abandoned or left writhing in pain;
Those who survive are subjected to torture and
discrimination,
To keep their identity alive in hostile and
antagonistic situation;
Considered as an inferior race by this ruthless
section of society,
Their fates are sealed with adversities, anguish and
anxiety;
The sociological difference between the two sexes,
they declare,
Is the primary cause of their prejudice, sarcasm and
jeer;
That has weakened and worsened the plight of girl
child,
Making her vulnerable to be subdued by the manly, the
wild;
She too can triumph, struggle and achieve great
milestones,
So why not shun this vanity and sing & dance to
her baritone?
Stop staining your hands with the blood of the
innocent,
Who epitomizes love and bring prosperity following her
advent;
Let us solemnly pledge to fight against female
infanticide,
And protect these unborn angels and embrace them with
pride.
